Offered today is this fine Large Loetz Diaspora gold vase with pinched sides. It is gold with iridescence in pink and blue. 7 1/2 inches tall and 4 1/4 inches in diameter at the widest part, this is an impressive vase. The condition is excellent, for a vase 102 years old, one scratch about an inch long, and the width of a human hair on the side about mid way up. I mention it for detail it does not detract from the beauty of this item. As is the case with most antiques this vase has been used in its life time and has some water stains inside. No cracks or chips. Signed "Loetz Austria" on the ground pontil. Circa 1905.
