This s Loksound 21 pin Sound Decoder. I have put it in one of my locos and it worked perfectly, producing sound, working the loco with a selection of Function Key operations. This is one of two sound decoders I came across in my spares box doing a bit of tidying and clearing out so I am not sure which loco it was from but the sound would suggest it is for a Class 45 or 46 Peak Diesel. I would have a guess at it being around 12 - 18 months old. The sound, in my opinion needs a reblow to a more updated sound file and in this case it could have the sound for any loco installed on it. People like South West Digital, Howes and Olivia's will reblow a decoder for around £20. As I could change the sound volume in CV63 beyond a 100, I am assuming that is a V4 Decoder. The default loco address should be 3 but it may be worth checking. There is a circular white sticker on the decoder (see photo) with whay looks like "7/12/MS" pronted on it. I have no idea what this refers to. If you find the decoder is not to your liking or does not work then I am more than happy for you to send it back for a full refund but at a starting price of less than £1 for around £120 worth of sound decoder you could get an absolute bargain. I will post it to you the day after the auction end and your payment clears if I am able.
