border="1" width="100%"> Adorable and RARE Long Hair, Side Part 1963 Betsy McCall! There is probably no doll as precious and adorable as 8" Tiny Betsy McCall! And this one is truly special! She has the oh so rare true Side Part, and extra long hair! I have seen very few examples of this hairdo, even online! It is reported to have been made only for one year, in 1963. It is just so wonderful to see a Betsy in another hairdo, it makes her even more irresistible! . Her cheek color is very light, giving her a porcelain look. It could be touched up easily, but I chose to leave it as is. Nothing has been touched on her, so I am leaving it for her new home to decide if they want to do any restoration! Her lips, lashes and brows are perfect! Betsy is such a little pixie!!!! These photos shows how lovely Betsy's long, thick blond hair still is! You can see a bit of the rubber which the hair is applied to, right at the front. This could be disguised a bit more by clever parting of her hair. It doesn't take away from her beauty though! She has one original barrette, too. Betsy is wearing her original Birthday Party dress. It appears to be in excellent condition with no tears, stains or problems that I can find.
