AUCTION OPEN TO MAINLAND UKBIDDERS ONLY – NO OVERSEAS POSTAGE You are bidding on a long London NN bus destination blind of the type fitted to Routemaster buses featuring destinations from some of the last routes that they operated on in London. (I originally purchased this blind with a view to putting it into an RM blind box that I have however I have since acquired another blind which features a particular destination that I wanted, so this blind is now surplus to requirements.) This blind includes destinations from routes 159, 9 and 137, all of which were covered by Arriva from their Brixton and Battersea garages. The blind, which contains 73 panels, is a 42 inch wide McKenna Tyvek blind and is marked 'Brixton NN DLA M VEH Set C 3/2/01' on the reverse of one of the ends of the blind.This blind has been used in service and may have grubbiness, creasing and small tears occasioned by the day to day wear over a period of time in service use. There are four small punctures at the top centre of the blind, two in the top centre of the first (Battersea Bridge South Side) panel and two just above in the neighbouring yellow panel which Ihave tried to show in photos 4, 5 and 6. To help maintain the blinds rigidity during shipping the blind has been wound onto a piece of plastic tubing, wrapped in clear plastic, bubble wrap and shipped in a strong cardboard tube. It will be shipped by the Parcelforce 48 service and I have checked the cost for this package at the Post Office today and it is £12.60. I have set the postage to £12, just less than the actual cost.
