This is a beautiful long pile russian hat which my great aunt purchased in the mid 1930s and was handed down to me thereafter. I love a bit of vintage fur but unfortunately it does not fit my head so I hope it can find a good new home. It's a shame not to get the use out of such items. It measures aprox 54 cm circumference and is about 20 cm deep. It is shaped at the neck and the back has a lovely ginger cross in the fur. The lining is burgandy satin but shows some signs of wear from aunty's hairpins as pictured above but the outside is in sterling condition and I have kept it in the right conditions. The pile is quite long about 5 cm and is good thick set with no gaps. I prefer pay pal payments please and be sure to check my other listings. thanks. I don't mind doing a refund on this item if it does not fit.
