You are bidding on a Longaberger Cake Basket Set. The set includes a Cake Basket in the Bold Red Stain, a Market Stripe Fabric Over-the-Edge Liner and a Protector. The set has never been used or displayed and is in it's original packaging in mint condition. The set has also been in a smoke-free environment.

The Longaberger Company introduced different colored stains for their baskets in the Spring 2006 WishList. The Bold Red Stain was one of the first new stains offered in that Spring 2006 WishList that ran from February through April 2006. It was also offered in the Summer 2006, Fall/Holiday 2006, Spring 2007 and Summer 2007 WishLists. In each WishList a limited number of baskets were offered in the different stains. The Cake Basket in the Bold Red Stain was offered in the Spring 2006 Wishlist, the Spring 2007 WishList and the Summer 2007 WishList. The Cake Basket itself was introduced to the Longaberger line in 1985. It is a current line Basket! The Cake Basket measures 12 inches long by 12 inches wide by 6 inches tall. It's recommended weight use is 30 pounds. The Basket is initialed on the bottom by the Basketweaver and is dated 2007. The Bold Red Stain is retired. The Market Stripe Fabric was offered by Longaberger from the Spring/Summer 2004 WishList until the Summer 2006 WishList when it retired. This Basket is great for carrying two pies in Grandma Bonnie's pie plates--use the riser to separate the two. It is also great for carrying children's books and toys when you go on a road trip!
