LONGABERGER'S ~ HORIZON OF HOPE ~ Included in this auction are: the First Five Horizon of Hope Baskets produced (1995-1999)Protector for each Basket Garden Splendor Liner for each Basket Tie-On for the 1998 Basket The annual Horizon of Hope Campaign enables the Longaberger Company to help the American Cancer Society in the fight against breast cancer. Through sales of the Horizon of Hope products, Longaberger has been able to raise $14 million for this cause in the past fifteen years . . . these five Baskets were only the beginning! All Baskets, Liners and Protectors, as well as the 1998 Tie-On (in original box), are in like-new condition. Each Basket is in the classic stain, initialed and dated on the bottom by it's weaver. Burned into the bottom of each Basket are the Longaberger logo and the American Cancer Society logo. The Baskets are pictured in order of the year they were produced. The tallest is the 1998, at approximately 5 1/2" (9" when the swinging handle is raised). The handles on the 1995, 1996 and 1999 Baskets are stationary, while those on the 1997 and 1998 are swinging. A beautiful set from a beautiful beginning!
