This set comes with the handcrafted maple splint basket, the plastic protector, the burgandy colored fabric liner and the booklet. This basket was never used. It shows no sign of wear what so ever. The basket has leather handles. You will truely love this beautiful basket!

Each Longaberger Basket is handcrafted of hardwood maple by an American artisan. The basketmaker first creates a sturdy bottom for the basket and attaches it to a wooden "form". Adding one row at a time, the basketmaker passes the wet weaves over and under the upsplints, tapping the weaving tightly together. Finishing touches are added, and in the Longaberger tradition, the basketmaker proudly initials and dates the basket. The result is a handmade work of art that you and your family can use, admire and cherish today, and for generations to come!
