2001 Medium Boardwalk basket with plastic liner, striped fabric drawstring insert w/pocket, and sea dollar tie-on. All are longaberger. I purchased the entire set at a party a friend had and immediately realized it would sit, unused, in my home for years to come. Not that it's not cute, it is...I just had no idea what to do with it. I was self-weaning out of one of my collectible phases and just couldn't resist another basket.

SO, it's been in storage since 2002. It's got a few blems on it - three that I counted - from rubbing up against at 1995 dresden basket that I got at the Longaberger factory when I toured it.

WHY AM I SELLING THIS? OK. My husband recently cleared out the storage unit and has started threatening to take the entire contents (somewhat neatly stacked in our garage) and leave them at the curb. When I said, "But..some of this stuff cost a lot of money...and it's only been a couple of weeks...." he just stared at me like I I had two heads and a longaberger basket growing out of one of them. Don't get me wrong, he's a great guy. He just gets a little antsy when my years and years of accumulated collectibles(the longaberger years 1995-2001; the hobnail glass years 1998-2000; mickey mouse and steiff years, 1988-1998...you get the idea) takes up the ENTIRE GARAGE. Let's put it this way. Someone's gonna get a great deal on a basket that's never been used for anything except to take up space in a box in a storage unit; and I'm going to get my happy hubby back. And money to feed my current collectible fetish. (He hasn't seen the boxes in the basement yet.)
