RARE EMPLOYEE CHRISTMAS BASKET COMBO

This beautiful Longaberger Combo includes the Basket which measures 12 x 8 x 4.25 in classic stain with red and green shoestring accent weaving and two genuine leather loop handles. It features a brass plaque that reads:

It comes with a brand new stand-up fabric liner in the Traditional Holly pattern with ruffled border, and a 3-way divided plastic protector. Like all Longaberger Baskets, this basket was proudly made in the USA , and is signed and dated by the weaver.

In 1987 the Longaberger Company began production of a series of CHRISTMAS baskets with red and green alternating shoe-string weaving. Each basket has a tag attached to the trim strip that read "Merry Christmas" on the early baskets and "Happy Holidays" on later baskets in the series. These were not sold, but were given to employees at the holidays and are rare, and hard-to-find.
