UP FOR AUCTION ARE NOT ONE, BUT TWO, POPULAR SWEETHEART BASKETS... The Sweetheart Collection features the red shoestring weaving and red ticking liners, starting in 1993. First, is a retired 1993 Longaberger Red Sweetheart Basket that includes the basket, fabric liner, tie on, and wooden lid. I am really not sure if the tie-on was the one offered by Longaberger, or purchased in Dresden at a later time. T is no plastic protector with this basket . The custom made solid wood lid is not a Longaberger product, but was made by KS Lanam Co. It fits down on the fabric liner and is quite adorable. It's been hand painted with 3 hearts. This basket has a stationary handle, and is 5"x 5"x 2.5" high. The year 1994 is on the bottom, but this is the 1993 Sweetheart Basket. Form #11347. It was originally priced at $25.95 and has a secondary market value between $74.00 - $160.00. Next, is the retired 1995 Longaberger Sweetheart Sentiments basket, plastic protector and fabric liner. This basket, form #19046 has a swinging handle, and is 4.25L"x 4.25"x 3" high. It retailed at $28.95 & has a secondary market value of between $67 and $85.00.
