EMPTY THAT GLOVE"! #508/650 Limited Edition of 650 issued in 1997 Featured is an Empty That Glove Film Cel, Signed By Muhammad Ali. Framed, complete with Certificate of Authenticity From Warner Brothers, which says: "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee, the Looney Tunes are in the ring with Muhammad Ali!" This dynamic image captures, "The Greatest" Muhammad Ali preparing for a title bout with the heavyweight champion of cartoon comedy, "That Oscar winning Rabbit, "Bugs Bunny. Referee Yosemite Sam is admonishing the Wascally Wabbit (on stilts) to cease and desist with the age-old gag, and empty his glove of contraband. Digitally droped into the cartoon world through the magic of modern technology, the Olympic Gold Medalist, three-time World Heavyweight Champion and overall World Famous personality Muhammad Ali once again joins the Looney Tune characters for an unforgettable cartoon bout! This limited edition cel began with an original drawing of the characters. The master ink line of this drawing, along with the Warner Brothers seal of authenticity, was then silk screened onto an acetate sheet (or cel). Each cel was then expertly hand painted on the reverse side. The original background was reproduced using the lithography process. In the final step of production, the limited edition number was inked on each cel in an edition size of 650. Each cel was individually signed by Muhammad Ali. Upon completion of the edition, the master inking and original background were archived. An "H.C.," or Hors de Commerce, is a series of proofs that was produced in addition to the regular edition, and is not intended for resale. Just an incredible piece for the animation art collector or boxing fan. Beautifully framed and matted. Extremely limited edition.
