HUMMEL GOEBEL LoreBlumenkinder FIGURINE FINE GERMAN HUMMEL BOY -BARROW -DOG This very lovely and very expressive high glazed figurine in Porcelain of a grand young man in his best jacket and Bow Tie with a big big smile on his face as he pushes his Wheelbarrow laden with fresh cut flowers and gifts, and most of all his pet dog. He is on his way to see his best girl with his lovely flowers and gifts. The name of this lovely romantic figurine is "COURTING COUNTRY STYLE" and is number Lore 250 and was made in the Gobel Hummel West German Porcelain Factories in 1970. The Lore 250 and the date 1970 are impressed under glaze on the bottom of the figurine. T is another number /o/151 clearly hand painted in black also under glaze. Below that is an impressed number 83 . The blue Gobel Hummel Logo is the stylized version . On the top of the base near the Boy's left foot is the incised word Lore. This figurine was made in 1970. It is 8.25" high from the bottom of the base to the top of the Boy's head, and approximately 6" long at the base. The Issued retail price of this item Lore #250 . was $185.00. Lore Blumenkinder was maade between 1966 and 1982, and this piece I am offering today is EXTREMELY RARE. .It is Pristine in every respect with no marks or scratches or chips and no craze. The glaze is even and uniform, and the whole attitude of happiness and joy is openly expressed in this figurine creating a truly supurb Collectors Item for not only Hummel Collectors but for Figurine Collectors the world over ..
