From ourWestern Americana collection is an authentic stock certificate from the Loretto Mining Company , i ncorporated December 13, 1875, San Francisco and owned by the Reddy Estate (brothers Ned and Pat Reddy) . The Loretto mines were located in Darwin , Inyo County, California, close to the Defiance mines. Silver, lead and gold were mainly extracted in these mines located close to Death Valley.
