LORTONE VIBRATING LAP

This is a 15" Lortone Vibrating Lap and still runs great. It is old and in good condition.

This lap includes two separate cast aluminum lap pans one for grinding operation and the other for polishing.

It also comes with a plastic cover while in use. The vibrating lap is for grounding and polished surface on slabs, geodes or anything you would like to grind or polish.

Rubber supported oscillating platform driven at 1600 plus vibrations per minutes for optimum lapping conditions. The only thing the lap needs is paint on the out side. But other than that, it runs great. It should give you great service.

Continuous duty fan cooled motor, and cushioned feet for years of trouble-free operation. Heavy welded steel frame enclosed all working parts. The total weight of the lap and pans are about 50 to 60 lbs and should go UPS.

Laps like this sells new for well over $450.00 plus extra for pans.
