LOS CASTILLO VTG MEXICO TAXCO SILVER GEM BRACELET 118g Description For your consideration is this vintage Mexican sterling silver and gemstone bracelet by Los Castillo . Circa 1940s. Hallmarked LOS CASTILLO TAXCO HECHO EN MEXICO with a design number 55. The bracelet has five different gemstones--an obsidian, a chrysocolla, a tiger's eye, an amethyst and a Mexican fire opal--being "held" by sterling silver "hands". Each gemstone measures slightly over one inch long, roughly 3/4 of an inch wide and roughly a 1/2 of an inch in thickness. The gemstones are in excellent condition with natural inclusions; the amethyst stone has a light crevice on the surface on the bottom of the stone. The bracelet measures 7 & 5/8 long, 3/4 of an inch at its widest point and 5/8 of an inch at its thickest. C-ring clasp. Weighs 118 grams. In excellent and undamaged vintage condition.
