The "LOST IN SPACE" Collection (1st) A Limited Edition - Talking ROBOT B-9 Sculpture!..Issued by the Franklin Mint (1998).. serial no. A3456 This extremely detailed artwork is outstanding.. Truly one-of-a-kind.The Robot stands true to form just as in the TV show as the cybernetic heroe of the Robinson family. He is surrounded by a beautiful backdrop of multi-colored space rocks. The Robot stands on top of a great looking model of The Jupiter 2, It's really like two sculptures in one!! The Jupiter 2 has nice details and is depicted in landing mode with its landing gear outstreched. Last but not least, on the bottom of the Jupiter 2 t is a button that you press and the Robot speaks!!.. This is not just any actor's voice but THE ORIGINAL VOICE OF THE ROBOT ( DICK TUFELD)!! As you may or may not be aware of, it took two men to make the Robot come alive. BOB MAY was the man inside the Robot suit, while DICK TUFELD provided the voice. The voice is crystal clear and sharp due to a micro-chip, the Robot says "Alpha Control, come in Alpha Control, this is the Robot, we appear to be lost in space please help" ALSO "Danger Will Robinson, Danger sensors indicate an alien intruder, Warning, Warning!!...
