Lot 104-106: Descended through the family of Siegfried Dutch, an immigrant from Vienna, Austria who settled in Huntington, Long Island and purchased these pieces new at Bloomingdales in New York City. Mr. Dutch was the creator of a machine for steam blocking (shaping) Panama Hats and also imported machinery from Europe for use in the garment industry; his wife owned and operated the Snappy Shoe Store in Huntington. Consigned by Mr. Dutch`s granddaughter. L. & J.G.
