THIS AUCTION IS FOR 1/2 OF MY COLLECTION THAT I STARTED AND AM CLOSING. IT IS THE DAVID WINTER COTTAGES. THERE ARE 14 PIECES IN THIS COLLECTION. MOST ALL OF PIECES ARE RETIRED . (Two I could not find details on, but they may also be retired.) MOST HAVE CERTIFICATES. MARKED ON BOTTOM AND BACK OF EACH PIECE. SEE LIST BELOW FOR DETAILS ON EACH PIECE. Indicates on bottom that it is handmade and hand painted in the studios and workshops of John Hire Ltd., Hampshire, Great Britain. I have tried to look over each piece for chips, etc. I have noted them on the list below. If not noted, then the piece is in good condition. I bought these from a friend some time ago and I am now downsizing, due to space in my home. I do not have the original boxes. Please feel free to ask questions and I will try to answer them with what I have to provide answers. This is a heavy box. I have added insurance and tracking into the costs. Thank You For Looking. SQUIRES HALL - 1985. Retired 1990. THE MAIN COLLECTION. Height is 6 3/4", Width is 5 3/4", Weight is 2 lbs. 5 oz. Has two of the 8 round chimneys on top with a chip off the edge. Larger chip on side of cottage (see pictures) Has certificate. THE WEAVER'S LODGINGS - 1991. Retired 1997. 5.5" tall x 3.5" in length. 1 lb. 3 oz. weight. Certificate. WINE MERCHANT - 1980. Retired 1993 . 3 1/2" tall x 4 " Width. 13 oz. weight. Certificate. COTSWOLD VILLAGE - 1982. THE MAIN COLLECTION. Retired 1996 OR 97. 3.5" tall x 6.5" in length. 1 lb. 11 oz. weight. Certificate. Has a small chip in one of chimney stacks and a chip area in roof line (see picture). THE GILLIES COTTAGE - 1988. - Retired 1996 . THE SCOTTISH COLLECTION. 5 1/4" tall. 4 1/4" width. Approx. 1 lb. 3 oz. Certificate. Chip down back side of Smoke stack. Cannot see from front. KENT COTTAGE - 1985. Retired 1997. REGION COLLECTION. 4 1/4" tall x 6 1/4" width. Weight 1 lb. 4 oz. Certificate GROUSE MOOR LODGE - 1989 . AUGUST BRITISH TRADITIONS COLLECTION . 4 7/8 " tall x 3 1/4" in width. Weight is 1 lb. 2 oz. No certificate. THE VICARAGE - 1985. Retired 1995. THE HEART OF ENGLAND SERIES. 2 3/8" tall x 4" wide. Weight 6 1/4 oz. Certificate. PILGRIMS REST - 1983. Retired 1993 . THE COUNTRY GALLARY COLLECTION. Height is 3.5", Width is 4 1/4" and Weight is 1LB 3 oz. Certificate. THE VILLAGE SHOP - 1982. Retired 1986. THE MAIN COLLECTION. Height 2 3/4 ", Width is 3" and Weight is 6 1/4 oz. Certificate. THE FISHERMANS WHARF - 1983. Retired 1996. THE MAIN COLLECTION. Height 31/4" x 5" width. Weight 15.5 oz. Certificate. THE APOTHECARYS SHOP - 1985. Retired 1995. THE HEART OF ENGLAND SERIES. Height 3" x 4" wide. Weight is approx. 1 lb. 3 oz. No certificate. YEOMAN'S FARM HOUSE - 1985. Reitred 1995. THE HEART OF ENGLAND SERIES. Height 2 1/4" x 5" wide. Weight is a little over 6 oz. No certificate. SECRET SHEBEEN - 1991. THE IRISH COLLECTION. 4 3/8" Height, 4 3/8" Width. Weight is 1 lb. 11 oz. Certificate. The Pudding Cottage is included in the pictures. I had to remove it today as while packing I noticed it had a couple of places that kept it from being to where I felt I should include it in the bid. I can include it in the shipment if you want it, as is, but don't want it to be part of the bid. It is okay for display, but not for resale. I have it in the overall picture, otherwise I would have just removed it. (Chimney has a crack in it - hard to see because of all the brick, but did see it while packing. Had it all those years and didn't even know it was cracked. Could not trace it all the way through. Chip under thatched window overhang. I also have a couple of Certificate of Authenticity (1/2 sheet with no reference to item) that I am enclosing. Items are packed safely in HEAVY bubble wrap Thank you for looking.
