Fans of Classic Hollywood take note - here is a big collection of vintage (and VERY rare) old Entertainment Magazines in Fair-Good+ condition (see descriptions below).Some of these magazines are nearly impossible to find these days and have become extremely sought after. The covers are simply amazing (and would look just as amazing framed)!But since we are on the subject of movies here, let me rate what's here by a system of "the good, the bad and the ugly"...Let's start with THE GOOD: ALL of these, while pretty well worn, all have their colorful covers and all but one, seems to have those covers firmly attached to their respective issues. The interiors are in most cases, very nice with slightly off whites and nice deep blacks (the photos are quite nice in fact). Great stories of old Hollywood, gossip, behind the scenes of some now classic and some forgotten movies, etc.! Some fantastic (and rarely seen today) advertisements for movies and great ads for everything from Lucky Strikes to soda pop and appliances. A treasure trove of info and rare pics for fans for sure!Now THE BAD: ALL of these issues have been compromised in some way by the previous owner who was obviously making scrapbooks from the photos she clipped out of the magazines long, long ago. Thankfully she did so with care and left the pages in tact overall. So you WILL find missing photos in every issue here, BUT they were at least removed with a razor (?) or careful cutting with scissors, leaving the original pages relatively free from any other damage. Major bummer though as had these all been in tact without flaw, the value on these would soar! Some issues are better than others though, in some cases with very few photos removed. Bad, yes, but NOT terrible. And lastly, THE UGLY: ALL of these have been obviously read, but with care. Nearly (but not all) have spine damage of some sort (but again - overall without compromising the integrity of the issues), most have signs of outer age/wear (probably from the way they were stored for the past 50-80 years or so), and there are a few rips and tears (mostly minor thankfully) on some of the covers/outer pages. As mentioned above though, the interiors are fairly well preserved! Amazingly, the color on the covers are still pretty vibrant too.
