Estate Lot of Butcher Knives These knives came out of a local NW Ohio Estate - I have NOT cleaned them in anyway - they have been wiped off with a dry cloth **I am not a collector or an expert with any kind of knife - If you are looking at this listing, you can be assured you have more knowledge then I do - PLEASE ask specific questions and I will answer to the best of my ability Photo # 2 (top to bottom) marked: "Charles" FRANCE M & H Co., New York (on blade) - overall length 11 1/2" - blade goes full length of the handle unmarked - overall length 10" - blade goes full length of handle marked: PAL K4807 (on handle) - overall length 11 3/8" -blade goes full length of handle has a brass pig with curly tail inlaid in handle - overall length 12 1/2" - blade goes into handle about 3 1/4" (handle is about 4 3/4") cleaver marked: UTICA SUPEREDGE U.S.A. (on blade) - overall length 11" - blade goes into handle about 2" (handles is about 4 3/4") Photo # 5 (top to bottom) marked: ROBINSON KNIFE - CARBON STEEL (on blade, very hard to read but I think that is what it says) - overall length about 12" - blade goes full length of handle marked: ? H Anderson (on blade, can't read the first letter)- over all length about 14 1/4" - handle end has been repaired, not sure what to say (see pics) marked: I WILSON - SYCAMORE ST. - SHEFFIELD ENGLAND - overall length about 10" - blade goes into handle about 2" - handle is about 4 1/2" - see pic, t is a crack in the handle - blade is tight marked: J.A. HENCKELS TWINWORKS - SOLIGEN, GERMANY - 55-6 (on blade) - overall length 10" - blade goes full length of handle unmarked - overall length 11 1/2" - blade goes full length of handle Photo # 8 (top to bottom) unmarked - overall length about 10 1/4" - blade goes into handle about 2 1/4" (handle is about 4 1/4") unmarked - overall length about 10" - blade goes full length of handle marked: Stewarts Hand Made (on blade in cursive) - overall length about 10" - blade goes full length of handle t seems to be some sort of mark on the handle, but I can't make it out - overall length 11" - blade goes full length of handle marked: W.B. Co - XLCR (with an arrow through it) - WARRANTED (on blade) - overall length about 10 1/2" - blade goes full length of handle marked: CAMBRIDGE & CO - ENGLAND - SHEFFIELD (on blade) - overall length about 9 1/2" - blade goes full length of handle - blade is very rusted and is thin - it is bent up on the end (maybe it's suppose to be, maybe not) - you can move the blade just a bit in the handle The pictures show the condition of the knives - look at the handle pictures too, some of the handles have spaces, you can see pictures - all blades are secure (except for the Cambridge knife) The knife with the brass pig has a burn mark on the handle (see pic) Please ask questions, since I probably don't know what is important in describing knives They all show wear to the blades and handles The only knife that has any wiggle in it is the Cambridge knife (the last one listed) ages are unknown no international shipping of knives -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you do not have a paypal account and would like to bid on my auctions, please contact me before bidding so arrangements can be made.Please Use Shipping Calculator - I don't want anyone unhappy with the shipping cost.
