This auction is for a Huge Lot of 185 Vintage Linens. These were purchased in rural Ohio at the estate auction of an elderly couple, both of whom have passed on. I am no expert, but they appear to be mostly from the 1950's or 1960's. I found no tags on these. I will try to describe what they consist of. T are:

24 RUNNERS--6 LACE, 7 SCREENED, 11 EMBROIDERED 33 CLOTH NAPKINS--13 LACE, 12 EMBROIDERED, 8 REGULAR 37 TOWELS--12 SCREENED, 20 EMBROIDERED, 5 REGULAR 14 TABLECLOTHS--9 SCREENED, 4 PRINTED, 1 HANDMADE 2 PILLOW CASES--BOTH EMBROIDERED 59 DOILIES--2 SCREENED, 20 EMBROIDERED, 34 LACE, 3 HOMEMADE 1 FABRIC GARDEN POUCH 15 OLD VINTAGE APRONS

The runners range from 13x31 inches to 14x40 inches. The aprons seem range from size L to XS, and one may be for a girl or a very petit woman. The card-table cloth with ties is 32x35 inches, a few very minor stains, no holes or tears. The red-and-white stripe cloth is 32x32 inches, no stains, no holes or tears. The black-with-floral print cloth is 50x50 inches, no stains, holes or tears. The garden-scene cloth is 70x90, only slightly faded, no stains, holes or tears. The yellow-with-red roses cloth is 50x63 inches, a few very minor stains, holes or tears. The light-green-and-white floral print cloth is 50x50 inches, no stains, holes or tears. The cream-and-white floral print cloth is 56x70 inches, has a very small patched hole, smaller than a dime, no stains. The light-pink or peach floral print cloth is 70x90 inches, no stains, holes or tears. The white-with-floral-print cloth is 65x68 inches, has a small patch about the size of a matchbook. One all-white cloth is 32x32 inches and two are 15x24 inches, not stains, holes or tears. The cloth napkins are standard size, and some match the tablecloths. The doilies vary in size but are all close, no stains, holes or tears. The pillow cases are standard size, not stains, holes or tears. The towels are mostly hand towels, with one bath towels (with a pink flower basket crocheted on it), all standare size. The garden pouch is hand-made with strawberries on it and yellow trim. These linens are in very nice condition. Who knows when these were last washed, so a good washing with some Resolve may get those minor stains out.
