The other 17 are lead/metal, and most have stamps on the bottom that read "Ral Partha" and "1986." Ral Partha was a company that made lead miniatures in the 80s, and was later sold to FASA (the company that owned/published BattleTech). All but one of these miniatures is already painted and ready for play. Each shows only minor storage and handling wear.
