Up for auction is a lot of 200 circulated Eisenhower dollars from the Philadelphia mint dated 1978 (there are only 5 in the photo we show to give an example). The coins are in good condition, but they do have an aged patina from being in circulation. They have been in storage for a number of years. They come from a pet and smoke free environment in Pennsylvania. *** Just to clarify - these coins were made for circulation, and are made of base metal; they do NOT contain any silver. Coins of this era are referred to as "Ike Silver Dollars," but only the collector's editions contained 40% silver. These are not collector's editions, and they do NOT contain silver.***
