One of the most popular investment grade bullion coins, the Silver Eagle contains 1 Troy Ounce of .999 fine Silver. This remarkable coin features the iconic Walking Liberty design on the obverse side, while the reverse side features the Heraldic Eagle with 13 stars above its head. American Silver Eagles were first minted starting from 1986, and they have become the official silver bullion coin of the United States. These coins are minted exclusively in the Philadelphia Mint, the West Point Mint, and the San Francisco Mint.
