LOT OF 24 ORIGINAL NASA B&W 8" X 10" GLOSSY PHOTOS. All are related to the Mercury program and include a few photos of astronauts such as Glenn, Grissom, and Carpenter. There are also photos of facilities, equipment, rockets, training, etc. Many of the photos have descriptions on the back. There are no duplicates. Four photos have "THIS PAPER MANUFACTURED BY KODAK" diagonal watermarks on the back. The remainder have no watermarks. All the photos are original NASA conventional photographic glossy B&W prints, they are NOT recent reprints, inkjet or other types of copies, photos of photos, etc. Overall, the photos are in very good to excellent condition. A few are in near mint condition. Some of the photos have very light creases, light corner bumps, and light scratches. Some of the descriptions on the backs are faded, but they are all readable. Many photos have a small black magic marker stripe or mark on the back and one has a small black magic marker stripe on the front. There may be a few other miscellaneous MINOR imperfections as well. None of the photos have heavy creases, tears, or other major defects or damage. I have owned these photos for many years and during that time they have never been in direct sunlight and were always stored in a cool, clean, dry, smoke-free, pet-free location.
