Lot 25 – Tri-ang Hornby R157 Class 101 DMU motorised car in BR Green, boxed This is a very near mint condition Tri-ang Hornby R157 Class 101 DMU motorised car in BR Green . The model has virtually no playwear evident for its age and the BR transfers and running number (M79628) are crisp and clear. Ramsay’s British Model Trains (7 th Edition), page 426, gives a value of between £20 and £60 for the 2 car model. The model comes in its original box, which is in outstanding condition. Please see my other items for Class 101 non-motorised cars. This is a photograph of the actual model for sale. If you have any questions, please get in touch with me and I will respond quickly. I am selling my late father’s massive model railway collection. I do not have any rails or a transformer so have no means of testing the loco motor. The model is therefore sold as “un-run”.
