I have a very nice lot of 28 matching folding wooden chairs. These chairs all have their original finish and come as found out of an old Odd Fellows lodge that closed down. I am guessing these chairs are from the 1920's-30's era. The chairs have spindle backs and slat plank seats. The wood looks to be maple. The finish is worn in places and there are some scrapes and scratches from years of use. I think this gives them some great character. If you would want a more polished look they could be easily gone over with some Old English scratch remover to freshen them up. The chairs measures 33 1/2" high X 16" wide X 19" deep when they are in the unfolded sitting position. The seat depth is 14 1/4" and the seats height is 17 1/2" off the floor. Four of the chairs have a slat which has broken out of the seat. I was able to salvage four slats out of a damged chair that will go along with these so you can fix the seats if you wish. I have pictured one of them for you. Other than that they are in good condition. Quite a few of them have an old piece of tape on the backside of the top rail. I'm sure this would come off if you wish. They might need a little better cleaning as I only wiped them off quickly with a damp rag. I am offering this as a group. If the group does not sell I will sell them in smaller bunches. The winning bidder is responsible read more
