This auction includes three genuine antique Victorian brooches: This Antique Victorian Pin has a large, probably synthetic marquise shaped stone. The stone is amethyst colored with swirls in it. The intricate filigree gold work is in excellent condition. The clasp works and is not damaged. It measures 2 1/16" X 1 1/1/4", and weighs approximately 14.5 grams. This large piece looks exceptional on a jacket or coat. Two Antique Victorian filigree yellow and rose rolled gold brooches. The clasp on one is intact, the other missing. These brooches measure 7/8" x 5/8" approximately, and weigh approximately 7.8 grams. They are a beautiful example of the intricate filigree gold work that was common during the Victorian era.
