EARLY READERS The Wright Group Books by Joy Cowley & June Melser THE STORY BOX BOOKS ***** In the late 1960s, when one of Joy Cowley’s sons had difficulty learning to read, she began writing for him and children with similar difficulties. By the late 1970s, Joy and editor June Melser were working on Wendy Pye's Story Box reading program. Since Story Box, Joy has written more than 600 early reading titles . Up for auction is a lot of 30 early readers by The Wright Group . Books are softcover and measure 5 1/2”x 6 1/2”. These leveled readers are in good used condition with teachers name in a few. T are no marks or names in these books. I have indicated number of copies in ( ).
