Greetings! This is a **NO RESERVE ** auction for a Lot of 347 40% Silver 1965-1969 Kennedy Half Dollars You are bidding on a mix of 347 (15 - $10 rolls, 1 roll @ $11.50, 1 roll @ $12) 1965-69 Kennedy Half Dollars. These 40% silver coins are mostly in normal circulated condition, but many of them are in excellent (possibly uncirculated) condition. What an investment opportunity! Each coin has approximately 0.1479 oz. of pure silver, meaning this lot has a Total silver weight of 51.3 oz. Given the current value of silver at $13.7 per oz (Jul-01-09), the silver value ALONE in this lot is $700. The opening picture is of the rolled coins because I was going to list them all separately by year, but decideded after I had rolled them that a bulk auction for the ENTIRE LOT would be a better idea. The gallery pictures show the coins before rolling, displayed out in 5x4 format, and one clump picture of the leftovers when I was done sorting the lot by year. The pictures are of the actual coins you will receive when you win this auction (rolled, of course). That "diamond in the rough" you have been looking for may be in this lot, as I am not an expert and have only sorted the coins by year and visual appeal. No cleaning of these coins has been done.
