This is a lot of Forty (40) vintage John J. Audubon Bird Prints. They are book prints removed from "Audubon's Birds of North America" published by Wellfleet Press in 1990. The plates were reproduced from Audubon's original paintings that he published in England from 1827 - 1838. Some of the birds included are Warblers, Wrens, Buntings, Thrush, Titmouse, and others. Each page measure approximately 8 1/2" x 12". However, the bird print itself is approximately 5" x 8". All are in good shape. All of the pics have another bird on the reverse side. The prints will be shipped flat with solid backing for protection. .
