This collection of souvenir spoons represents a lifetime of travel within the U.S. and to a number of foreign countries. It includes a total of 50 pieces; 49 spoons and one fork. There are spoons from 12 states, 13 from American landmarks, 5 with hanging charms, and foreign spoons from a total of 10 countries. Most have enamel shields and many have imprinted words or maps on their bowls. Some are silver plated (at least 8 are marked “silver plate”) and several are a gold-colored metal. There are three with deeply scalloped bowls and one with a painted or enameled bowl. They range in length from approximately 2 3/8” to 5”. I do not believe there are any duplicates. All are in very good to near excellent condition and do no appear to have been used. The only damage I can find is a small raised area (corrosion?) on the bowl of the spoon from Korea with the square decorative top. Please note that any white or gold coloration seen on the spoons’ bowls is caused by the reflection of light and/or my shirt while taking the photos. Assuming each spoon originally cost a minimum of $4.00, this collection originally cost at least $200.00. I have listed the spoons at ten per cent of that cost. I will be happy to answer any questions.I can usually combine auctions to reduce shipping costs. I try to ship on the first business day after payment
