It's liquidation time! My husband says I have too much stuff (he's right). I have been collecting postcards for many years - my grandmother got me started and I have carried on with a vengeance. Trouble is, I also collect lots of other stuff and we don't have enough room for everything. I love my stuff but I love my husband more, so some of it has to go. This lot is for 500+ postcards. T are no duplicates. All are standard sized (except one card from Hawaii, which is mentioned below). Approximately 450 of them are in Very Good to Mint Condition. The oldest cards, dating from the Victorian era, are mostly in Very Good Condition. T are no tears or creases, but t is some wear on corners and edges on a few of the older cards. The cards are used and unused, with most of the used cards still having their stamps in good condition. A few of the standouts in this lot include: 1964 New York World's Fair Cards in VG to EXC condition (2 different views) Linen card showing the Eagle Rock TraveLodge; 1840 Colorado Blvd., Los Angeles, CA; "Between Pasadena and Glendale, connecting U.S. 66, 99, 101" - Mint condition 1962 Disneyland card showing "SUBMARINE RIDE - In Tomorrowland you'll explore the mysteries of the Seven Seas abourd authentic submarines..." VG- Condition Pre-linen card showing Alamo Plaza Hotel Courts - New Orleans, LA - Excellent read more
