Lot of 55 Plate Blocks all with Multiple Plate #s 1970-80 Lot #7 S. Stamps Mint 55 Jumbo Plate Blocks, all different, 6 cents to 40 cents, 1970 to 1980 All Plate Blocks (except one) have multiple plate numbers. Most are blocks of 12, some are blocks of 10 and 20. All plate blocks offered in this sale are in the correct configuration for Plate Block Collectors as described in Scott Specialized Catalogue These are the jumbo blocks with a 5 digit plate number for each color. The Post Office stopped production of jumbo blocks with multiple plate numbers in 1981. All blocks are Mint, Never Hinged, Original Gum, Fine to Very Fine Centering. Some unique and special. On line Catalog value of all blocks: $200.00+ Most blocks are fresh looking and colorful like they just came from the Post Office. Some blocks have minor browning (2), some have the usual staple holes in the margins, some with minor perf seps (1) and some with minor creases (1). Most are in very good mint condition.
