You are bidding on four Iohn Green or John Green wood molding or moulding planes as pictured.Included are, from left to right in the first picture:--- the wider round plane, which is marked "IOHN GREEN" and owners "R F HARTLEY" and "B 22" on the front end, and a similar "B 22" and what might be "13" or perhaps "15" on the back end. The iron is about 1-3/16" in width. I would guess that the profile has been flattened out a bit, or is not as round as it used to be. Condition is otherwise fair to good, with lots of dings and scratches and chips in the wood, some glue and some paint to clean off, lots of wear to the finial of the wedge, and two screw holes from a removed fence on the lower right side.--- the narrower round plane, which is marked "IOHN GREEN" lightly on the front end, and "6" (could be a 9, but 6 makes more sense) and owner "BV" on the back end. The iron is about 3/8" in width. Condition is good, better with a cleaning, and it has a variety of dings and scratches and chips in the wood, especially at the back end.--- a plane that has been modified into a rabbet plane, which is marked "IOHN GREEN" and owner "R SIMPSON" (bordered stamp) on the front end, and I can't make out anything on the back end. The iron is about 3/4" in width, and does not extend all the way to the left side. It appears to have been made from a file. read more
