(Lot of 4 diff.) Contemporary JACKIE ROBINSON Dodgers Photos by GEORGE BRACE Starting Bid 99 cents !!! .... Absolutely NO RESERVE !!! DESCRIPTION Offered is a group of (4) different photographs originally taken by noted photographer George Brace in the 1950's. A disciple of the legendary George Burke, the Chicago native took over where the business in the 1950's and continue to legacy of the Burke-Brace studio. The offered grouping are contemporary 5" x 7" prints, TYPE II later-generation re-strikes made in the last twenty years. These are nice in that Brace made these off his own original negatives providing contrast and clarity equal to their original 1950' 1st generation TYPE I counterparts but at a more affordable cost. And because these were hand-developed by Brace himself, they do have collector value and are superior to copies made form dupe negatives (each carry Brace's credit stamp on the reverse). And many feature rare images where a TYPE I vintage original would be difficult to locate. As with ALL our auctions, there is NO RESERVE so Bid to WIN !!!
