For your consideration, this wonderful and Rare Lot of Frank Linke Patented Hutter Bottles is up for auction. BOTTLE COLLECTORS TAKE NOTICE! This Rare Lot of Two Blob Top Bottles was manufactured I believe, in 1905. These bottles are Highly Collectable for Several Reasons. First of all, each are Aqua in color and are Highly Embossed with Interwoven Swirls inside the Slug Plate. The Embossing is Exquisite Each bottle says "Registered - Frank Linke - FH (In Script) - Trade Mark - Plainfield, N.J. - This Bottle Not ToBe Sold." The Base of each Bottle was meant to be Struck, but both of these are Error Bottles to boot, because each has been Double Struck with "K H 05" which I believe would stand for "Karl Hutter 1905." Karl Hutter received the Patent for the very first Hutter Lightning Stopper on Feb 7th, 1893. To see the Original Patent please click: /bottle/pdffiles/hutterpatent1892.pdf Both of these Frank Linke Blob Top Bottles are complete with their Original Hutter Porcelain Lightning Stoppers - and Each Hutter Stopper is Complete with the Patent Date of February 7, 1893. The Top of each Stopper is Beautifully Marked with the same information as the Slug Plate (see photos) and the Bottom of each Stopper says "Pat'd K. Hutter Feb 7, 1893 (see photos). Each Bottle's Embossing shows absolutely No Case Wear or Damage. The Glass itself is Loaded with Wonderful Bubbles and t are even some Straw Marks present to further clarify that these bottles are the real deal ! Please Note that one Bottle is Closed and should remain that way because the other bottle is Open and slightly damaged on the lip. Only an expert should attempt to put the Stopper back into the bottle without risk of further damage to the glass. Each bottle is 9 1/2" tall and sets perfectly even on its base which is 2 5/8" wide. The overall condition is Excellent . As previously mentioned, the only damage to report is on the Open Bottle. T are two small chips on the lip and I am almost certain that this happened when someone (not me) tried to open the Hutter Stopper. T is also a small ping that actually has a tiny stone in it I believe (no doubt from the digging, etc). The Closed Bottle is in Excellent Undamaged Condition . Other than the two chips and the small ping, t are no other chips, cracks, repairs, fleabites, gouges, scrapes or other conditions to mention . Each Stopper is free of chips as well but the Wire Mesh does show signs of rust and age. I hope you can agree that these wonderful Antique Bottles would be an Excellent Addition to any collection of Rare American Antique Bottles.
