Two adorable kokeshi dolls. Wooden from japan. Both are nodders, bobble heads. Earrings painted on heads. One is marked "Made in Japan" Ejiko lid from a basket type Kokeshi is not marked. Made as souvenirs for visitors of Hot Spring pools in Japan. Folklore tells these dolls deter fire in the home. Very unusual pair.
