Bidders may inspect property at the place and time specified in the invitation to bid. 2. Payments (“Seven Days is Seven Days”) Unless otherwise specified in the auction listing, payment in full must be received within seven calendar days from the close date of the auction. Sales of items not paid in full within the specified period will be cancelled. Property Removal (“We’re not Public Storage”) Unless otherwise specified in the auction listing, the buyer must remove purchased items from the sale site within seven calendar days from the close date of the auction. A buyer who fails to remove property within the specified period forfeits all rights to the property as described in section 4(B) below. Please Note: Oregon’s Surplus Property Program will help load a buyer’s property within reasonable limits. 4. Default (“We’re not kidding about Numbers 1-3”) A. Auction Default: Buyers who do not comply with Section 2 are barred from participating in online auctions by the Oregon Surplus Property Program until they submit a reinstatement fee as follows: • $25 per occurrence (per each unpaid item) for personal property items • $200 per occurrence for vehicles or heavy equipment B. Removal Default: Property paid for, but not claimed within the specified period, is considered abandoned. All right, title, interest and ownership defaults to the Oregon Surplus Property Program and the buyer forfeits any payment made on the property.
