Other than the writing on the front cover, this 75 year old catalog looks fabulous! Heavy card stock cover with newsprint type inner pages - all still attached to staples! Also still attached inside are two beautiful sample violin string packages. There is also an extra folded insert with more instruments included along with price list. 1938 Volkmar Scherzer (Germany) : Double-sided 4-panel one-sheet featuring guitars, drums, trumpets, clarinets, violins, mandolins and banjos. Comes with original Volkmar Scherzer company envelope. In beautiful condition save for one blue crayon marking on both items. 1950's Couesnon (France) : 1-sheet double-sided fold-out 4 panel Catalog featuring guitars, lutes, mandolins and violins. Front has very slight wear, insides are amazingly clean and well preserved! 1950's FRAMUS Wander Gitarren (Germany) : 1-sheet double-sided 5 panel fold-out Catalog featuring "Guitars For Home and Picnic Purposes" Slightest of wear, one of ten panels has some discoloration at top. 1950's Boosey & Hawkes (UK) Ivor Mairants : Double-sided 1-sheet (4 page) Strings For The Plectrum Guitar Catalog .
