Welcome to Mrs. Shaygetz's Moving Sale! We're moving, and just can't take everything, so I'll be posting quite a few items over the next couple of weeks. :) This is a lot of 5 Nancy Drew books by Carolyn Keene, from the 1950s. I have provided descriptions of each, and large pictures for your inspection (It was a very bright day, so t is some washing out, especially on the spine shot.). All were published by Grosset & Dunlap, and feature the cloth hardcovers with yellow spines. All have the same blue-and-white multi-scene end papers. #27 - The Secret of the Wooden Lady, 1950 . Four pages have the bottom corners or bottom margin torn off. None affect any text. T are two price stickers on the cover. Besides these, the book is in good condition with a little cover wear. #28 - The Clue of the Black Keys, 1951 . A good bit of cover edge wear and a little peeling at the spine. The front flyleaf is torn out. The list of Nancy Drew books in the front has check marks beside many of the titles. The word "science" is written at the top of the title page, and again along with a name at the top of the table of contents. #32 - The Scarlet Slipper Mystery, 1954 . Very n ice condition with little wear. No marks . #34 - The Hidden Window Mystery, 1956 . Very nice condition with little wear. No marks. #35 - The Haunted Showboat, 1957 . Very nice read more
