These 15 are all signed by other stars including Jack Benny, Joel McCrae, Norma Shearer, Douglas Fairbanks Jr, Bing Crosby, Dixie Dee (3x), Mickey Rooney, Robert Montgomery, Barbara Stanwick, Miriam Hopkins, Mary Livingston, Milton Berle, and Irene Dunne.Being offered is a lot of fifteen 8x10" black & white, personally signed movie promotional photos from the 1930s. This collection is from the heir to the original owner, the General Motors' Cadillac VP of the west coast, Skipper Upson. Hollywood stars like these would make promotional appearances at auto shows in California, and hand out or sign photos (see other listing for unsigned WC Fields photos). Upson's collection was left to his grandson to this day and remains in excellent condition. The Sanders Guide reference manual on autographs states the combined value of this lot would exceed $1100 (2003 book value).
