For your consideration, offered are two compact, attractive, good quality displays featuring pure fibrous sample specimens of each of the 6 currently designated "asbestos" mineral types. An “all-in-one” display set sure to please novice and serious collectors alike. Each unique "asbestos" mineral specimen exhibits classic asbestiform/fibrous textures and colorations; including rare & hard-to-find species like crocidolite, amosite, anthophyllite, etc.

Each fibrous mineral sample specimen is enclosed within a small, sealed "air-tite", labeled container and secured in-place in a velour/felt-laminated, die-cut display card. The "double-sided" sample display card slides firmly into an angled channel in the finished maplewood base. The stand-alone display is labeled on the wood base as " ASBESTOS MINERALS" - "6 FIBROUS SAMPLE SET" on aesthetic "gold"-foil labeling.

The entire display arrives in its own two-piece, foam-lined giftbox that is covered by black, embossed paper. If desired, the sample display card and wood base may be easily disassembled and conveniently returned to the the giftbox for storage.

The overall dimension of this compact display measures approximately: 6.5"W (at wood base); 5.5"W x 5.5"H (card) x .25" in thickness; individual sample containers each measure approx.: 4cm x 5.5cm x .5cm. A ruler & 12-ounce beverage can are shown for visual scale reference (items not included) .
