Phone: LOT of 20 POSTCARDS Nazi GERMANY 1936 OLYMPIC GAMES 1138 - A4 Up for bids, is a highly collectable lot of old German postcards, with some being from the 1936 Nazi winter games, and many more of the summer games in Berlin. You will also receive two 1936 Olympic Postcards, and 3 uncancelled postage stamps which are tab mounted inside of a linen paper cover from the Monchs Hotel in Herrenalb, Germany. Hand titled and dated on the front cover. Green 6 + 4 postage stamp with speed skater "Deutiches Reich" printed in the upper right corner, and dated in the lower left corner "Olympische Spiele 1936" All of these stamps were designed by the artist M. Eschle. Red 12 +6 stamp (close-up in photos) plus a blue 25 + 15 stamp with images of bob sledders. Postcards include: 2 reddish brown printed postcards with mountain scene from the 1936 winter games. Very fine / Unused condition 1 brown printed postcard from August Summer Olympic games in Berlin - Image of Sailboat and olympic rings. This postcard has been hand cancelled with a black stamp that has 2 swastikas from the Berlin Olympia Stadion and is dated August 14, 1936. You will also receive another postcard from the summer olympics in Berlin with a brown printed image of the stadium, which is also cancelled with the same black stamp. Plus 6 reddish brown printed postcards with the same image of the stadium, with one being cancelled with the same black stamp. 1 green printed "postkarte" 6 + 4 "Winterhilfsweck" with the artistic images of sailors at sea. Also included in this lot are 7 black & white photo postcards of which 3 have been written on with cancelled stamps. Includes photo of the Leopoldville monument, a ocean and beach scene, and a mountain top view of the village of Oberdrauburg. 2 black & white images of "Deutsches Turnfest Munchen" printed postcards with pre-printed stamps and cancelled with a stamp that dates July 21, 1923. 1 Black & white photo postcard of the Berlin "Reichs sportfeld" with uncancelled stamp with image of a Fencer. Fine condition - not used. 1 Black & white photo postcard of the outside of the Olympic Stadium building in Berlin. Uncancelled postage stamp of soccer player. Fabulous lot............please bid now!
