An original lot of 20 World War II vintage documents belonging to 1st Liuetenant Louis C. Stromp who was a port authority officer in Seattle, Alasaka, and Washington. In his position he went on several wartime voyages during the war. All of these papers have the name of the ship William Thompson on them. Most appear to be related to cargo shipped. Around twelve mention cigarettes such as Kool, Chesterfield, Phillip Morris and Camels. Many of these say they were received c/o George S. Bush, Co. Other items listed are cashews, Gillette razors, Life Savers candy, poker cards, pinochle cards, dutch masters cigards, copenhagen snuff, etc. Another document mentions Lucky Strike Cigarettes, Ritz Crackers, and Remington ammunition shells that were pilfered.
