THIS AUCTION IS FOR a THREE semi-porcelain items .... made by Florence Ceramics in the 1950's - Pasadena California... These items are FROM A RECENT ESTATE. Item # 1 is an unmarked Barbara carrying a basket full of applied roses and greenery with lots of 22kt gold detailing. Barbara has a twin sister named BEE who is a flower holder, but Barbara is the fancier version that is not a vase. This unmarked Barbara is about 7 inches tall and has hand painted flowers on her dress. Lots of all over gold detailing and applied lace on the front of her dress. She has two flaws. T is a gold applied ribbon on the back of her hat and half the bow is missing. She also has lace missing on the front of her dress. Otherwise she is clean and shiny and very adorable. Item#2 is a pale pink dresden vase with the Florence Ceramics stamp on the bottom. The flowers and leaves look great. The only issue we could find is a large sideways " C" shaped hairline crack that is at the top of the vase . . . travels downward and then comes back up. It appears that the piece has never been away from the vase and is not easily seen when on display, but it is t Item # 3 is a little unmarked Gibson Girl sister from the Garage era. She has a ton of 22kt gold hand painted detail !! She has a gold applied bow at her neckline. She has applied lace between her bonnet and brown hair. Her details are striking and a lot of time was spent decorating this little lass. Look closely at her photo and you will see that she had been broken in half many years ago, as the glue job was done badly. She could be left as is and perhaps decorated in that area in some crafty way -- or taken apart and restored correctly. She is a work of art and deserves someone to take the time and fix her! She is bright and clean and shiny otherwise. All items are antique, vintage , pre-owned and tfore sold as found. An honest effort has been made to describe the item as it truly is. All sales are final. Please ask any and all questions before you buy
