OK...My husband found and was given this box with all these items inside, while rebuilding a University in St. Louis Missouri. He's had it for many years...and we don't have a use for it, so we are going to try and hand it over to someone who will appreciate it more. The pictures show everything your getting, and if you want more pictures...or of any specific item...Please don't hesitate to contact me. The Box- is OLD, it has a paper "49" on the front (that is falling off, but I will put the paper pieces in the item with it), with a brass key hole (it is unlocked, but we do not have the key)...The inside of the box has compartments for some of the lenses to store. T is a crack on the bottom, that you can see someone tried to fix. The Left hinge is missing one of the two small screws. The right hinge is fine. The front left corner has a wooden stabilizing ring to hold a lens, the inner portion is intact and attached to the box, but the outer-upper portion has fallen off. But could be repaired, the piece is t, and intact. Fits really snug...It's an original box... You're getting 10 microscope glass slides. Their dusty and dirty, but can be cleaned. I just didn't want to ruin them One of the items included , and it works like an eye pupil (with a spindle handle, that you gently move to: Close in to the size of pencil lead to hide light, and open up to the size of a penny to let light in.) is really cool looking. Opens & closes without any difficulty. You're getting 10 Objective lens... Some have markings, and others don't. They are all brass. Some of the markings: Bausch & Lomb Optical Co. I have no clue how they fit together, or even if they go together...but I'm selling you what I have. You're also getting...19 Brass Cylinder Lens Cases (Just the cases, no lens inside) Bausch & Lomb (Rochester N.Y. New York City)- 1/12, 2/3, 1/4, 1 IN, 1/8 E. Leitz Wetzler- SIX that have a #3 on them, FIVE that have a #7 on them, 1/12 170mm, C. Reichert Wien, TWO # 3For a TOTAL of 19 Cases...that are empty..I have no idea what you use them for. I've listed the markings to the best that I can read them on the cylinders. I hope someone out t will know. T is also an ADDITIONAL holder that has 4 holes, kind of looks like a little wooden drawer, to hold other cylinder cases, or objective lenses. Additional items, are shown in picture. Have no idea what to call them, and have no idea what their used for. Item is bought as-is in the condition it is in (age, scratches, tarnished, etc etc) The dust is free ;-) SHIPPING INSURANCE is REQUIRED, for such antique items. The amount will be based on the ending bid. Thanks! The Shipping cost will be a set rate at $12 (Mainly because I have NO idea what it will cost, and what distance the winner will be)...I will pack the items with as much bubble wrap and other products to prevent damage while shipping. I want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If ANY questions at all...please ask! ATTENTION Bidders/ FUTURE BIDDERS: Yes, I will ship internationally. Please contact me for a shipping price. Of course, Insurance in required. Thanks in advance!!!
