Lot of three handsome gauges, two of which have effective points and one of which has its points worn down. One looks to me like walnut although it could be rosewood, its points are effective but t has been some damage to the stem from the thumb screw being tightened into it. It is a nice gauge and perfectly usable but was never top of the line. The lighter wood gauge with curl and high lites to it appear to me to be boxwood and is particularly attractive because of its wood. It has no cracks, chips, breaks or other damage but has no maker's name that I can find. The third gauge has substantial brass protection at the end of the stem, a scribe point at the back of the stem but the two front scribe points have been heavily worn down. Has nice knurling at the bottom of the thumbscrew and has no damage that I can find reflecting both care and value of the piece. I guess the value of these three pieces is a function of why you are looking at them. They certainly would add visual appeal to any collection and are certainly re-salable if you are a dealer.
