Up for auction is a lot of 9 items advertising Coca Cola, 1930s-1960s. The lot includes two fold-outs of the transportation series distributed by the company in 1943, with 5 different scenes on each, and matching detailed descriptions on the reverse side. These were intended for kids to clip and save in their scrapbooks or official Coca Cola booklets. The lot also includes 3 bottle return tickets, with a space for a name that could be filled in to indicate who the bottles should be returned to (not all stores paid bottle refunds, and some kids made money in the 1930s by hustiling empty bottles to return). Also in the lot is a 1940s era magazine advertisement for Coke (selling at 5 cents), and two blank menu sheets with a 1960s football and Coca Cola design, probably intended for the diners that catered to high school and college crowds. In addition, the lot includes an unused postcard featuring the Coca-Cola Pavilion at the 1964 New York World's Fair. All in good-excellent condition, complete, no damage to note. Buyer pays $2.25 shipping and handling in the US.
